034 - Thomas and Dickie On Trial

Published on: 30th December, 2019
So many questions as Thomas and Dickie go before the honorable Judge Barnes. Will Thomas be savvy enough to defend against the prosecution Crikey Talbot? Is Judge Barnes masturbating throughout this entire episode? How's the bailiff's community service going? What's up with Crikey's accent? Judge Barnes was played by Jason Brent, who is a real life legal guy and was worried about making the court room stuff sound realistic...even though it was for a podcast where you can travel through time by drinking the urine of Viet Nam vets. The bailiff was played by Paul Allen...who had no idea we were going to shove a microphone in his face. The jury foreman was EJ Watson, who was totally busy and walking past us when we shoved the mic in his face too. Connor Meade, Jimmy Doom, Brett Mercer and Tim Den Otter recorded their parts months ago, but hopefully it was fairly seamless when you listened today. Thank you to Jeff Sanguis and Rebel Spies! for kindly letting us end this episode/story arc with their song "What Have I Done" off their album RISE. Check them out at: https://rebelspies.bandcamp.com/ Alex and I would like to take this final chance to thank you all for making the TRUTHCAST successful this first year. We hope you like what's in store in the future. The live show has moved to the second Thursday of every month at Go Comedy. You can get tickets at: www.gocomedy.net Go to https://offthemike.com/merch/ to order your very own TRUTH t-shirt. They look super cool! And if you order now, I'll throw some stickers in there too. About the Podcast

TRUTHCAST
The X-Files meets Beavis and Butthead
It's been called The X-Files meets Beavis and Butt-head. And that's hugely insulting because this show is incredibly serious and perhaps may be the most important podcast ever recorded.

Every Monday noted Critical Thinker Thomas Luge and his apprentice Lil Dickie Rickets sit down with heroes to cut through the misinformation presented by the corporate owned media.

This is most certainly NOT an improvised parody of conspiracy theory culture turned homoerotic soap opera created by comedians Alex Bozinovic and Mike Bobbitt showcasing their funny friends playing eccentric characters.
